Practice Description

Upstate Foot Care is a podiatry practice with locations in Gaffney and Duncan, South Carolina. Our goal is to educate the patient while using all the resources necessary to facilitate an optimum treatment plan. We are an office based, private practice, with hospital privileges at several area locations. We specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions.

Education Hans Blaakman, DPM graduated from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT with a degree in biology. He then immediately went on to the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (now the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.) and graduated in 1992. Dr. Blaakman is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
